JAMB Cut-Off Marks 2026/2027
The minimum UTME scores set at JAMB's policy meeting on 11 May 2026, this year's admission deadlines, and the subjects most courses ask for. Last checked 27 September 2026.

- Colleges of Education: NCE candidates with at least four credit passes are exempt from the UTME, but must still register with JAMB and be screened before admission is issued on CAPS.
These are national minimums. Most universities set a higher cut-off, and competitive courses such as Medicine, Law and Engineering usually need well above it. Check your chosen school's Post-UTME announcement for its own mark.

Other rules this year
- Candidates have four weeks to accept or reject an admission offer on CAPS, or the offer can be withdrawn.
- The change of course and institution window opens only after the mop-up examination.
- Candidates for National Diploma programmes in non-technology agriculture courses are exempt from the UTME in the same way as NCE candidates.

Your four UTME subjects must match what your course requires, or you cannot be offered admission. These are the usual combinations; some universities differ, so confirm yours in the JAMB brochure before you register.
